We believe that the best way to fight HIV is by empowering the teachers at Namibia's government boarding schools. For only $150, each teacher receives a full day's workshop, classroom materials, translations into their own and their learners' languages, and our specially-produced peer-education video and accompanying teacher's guidebook for their school. The classroom video has Namibian learners speaking directly to others.

We do everything we can to keep our running costs at a minimum. We're grateful for our donated offfice space in both the US and Namibia.
Most of our funding comes from individuals who recognize how far $150 can go in the developing world, especially in a monitored and evaluated project with minimal overheads.
All donations to Sekolo are tax-deductible and we maximize the value of each donation for the direct benefit of Namibia's young people. Click here to view our letter of 501(c)3 designation from the IRS.
